Depression

Depression is a common problem for many people in today’s society and can often be debilitating to both the individual experiencing the condition and those around them.  Clinical depression can be managed and treated with the assistance of medication and counselling.   CLS can assist you in making the right choices to assist your return to positive mental health.

CLS staff are available for counselling sessions free of charge for anyone experiencing feelings of suicide.

Common symptoms of depression may include:

  • Lack of interests in activities
  • Withdrawal from family and friends
  • Fatigue and lack of energy
  • Tearfulness and crying
  • Difficulty concentrating
  • Thoughts about death or suicide
  • Changes in eating and sleeping habits
  • Restlessness and agitation
  • Sadness and hopelessness
  • Feelings of worthlessness and guilt
